RVs are one of the most expensive and most extending vehicles. They also require a spacious space to park and also it’s an expensive affair. There is very few parking slots also and also there are fixed locations provided for the RV parking. RV parking can be made with swimming pools, saunas, libraries and entertainment halls, to barebones.

National Parks: There are more than 300 national parks and almost every park has campgrounds. Most National Park campgrounds are having no utility hookups for RVs. They are generally reasonable and often have flush toilets, showers and evening nature programs.
National Forests: The U.S. Forest Service maintains 156 forests covering more than 190 million acres of land, 100,000 million miles of trails, 70,000 miles of streams and rivers, and about 4,500 developed campgrounds. These are the least expensive option of parking and available in all tourist places. They allow night stays also and many of them are very basic, with only pit toilets. But the popular may have flush toilets and seldom showers.
Bureau of Land Management campgrounds: This federal agency oversees 280 million acres of scenic outdoor recreation sites in the western U.S. BLM campgrounds cost a few dollars. They are often found in the desert and scrub lands. They are cheaper options.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains 53,000 campsites on projects near lakes, rivers and oceans, and are reasonably priced.
State Parks: They are the most popular area for campsites. The campsites range from primitive to the most sophisticated also.
Local parks: Thousands of campsites are included in this category. They are sponsored by the counties or even small towns.
Commercial Campgrounds: They are containing around 8,000 parks varying in the services.
